The Aspire lounge at Zurich Airport is the contract lounge for British Airways flight BA773 and can also be used by Priority Pass members. We were travelling economy with BA but as we had OneWorld Emerald (Qantas Platinum) I was able to access the lounge myself and bring a guest.
Tip: as British Airways has multiple flights out of Zurich to other destinations such as Gatwick the lounges change depending on the flight.

Aspire Lounge Zurich
Access to the lounge is after boarding pass scanning and security check but prior to going through passport control. You will need to factor the walk to the gate and processing by passport control. We left before the boarding message was displaying go to gate and were one of the last on the plane. It took us 5-10 minutes to get through passport control.
To find the lounge head upstairs and then in the direction of gate D. It is well sign posted and easy to find..
Check in was seamless as they scanned my boarding pass and my visitors boarding pass and then handed over a wifi password. There were two front office staff which kept the visitors flowing.
Food and beverages in Aspire Lounge Zurich
As it was breakfast they served baked beans (not sure how that works at altitude), scrambled eggs and soup. There were also rolls both ready to go and make yourself.
We arrived at 10am and the passengers were already getting stuck into the beer and cuvee/prosecco. We had a long day ahead and a planned visit to the BA galleries first lounge so stuck to the sparkling water.
There was plenty of fresh fruit available such as apples and bananas.
Power Plugs and USB
There were no USB plugs to be found. However there was a collection of power plugs to suit most countries (except Australia).
Entertainment
Thankfully they had the TV tuned to the Australian Open finals. The flight display board was located next to the TV to make it easy to keep an eye on departures.
Toilets and Showers
Toilets are outside the lounge however there were no showers available. I saw a heavily tattooed passenger washing in the basin. At least he will board fresh.
Seating
The lounge is relatively small and is separated into 3 discrete areas. On a Sunday morning at 10am it was not busy and there were lots of choices for seating.
Views
The lounge has a view back out to the departures scanning gate so has lots of people watching opportunities.
Aspire Lounge Zurich Summary
A comfortable lounge in one of my favourite European airports. A good use of free lounge access before a “nothing free to eat” BA economy flight.
